KPJAYI authorised Level II
It has been 18 years since I started practicing yoga. I started teaching 8 years ago, when I was authorized by Sharath Jois to teach the first and second series of Ashtanga Yoga. Since then I have not stopped working teaching, mainly in our studio in Palma de Mallorca, while I have continued giving workshops around the world.
By teaching I have learned that the ability to share the knowledge is a gift that I should not waste. Yoga teaches me every day to appreciate myself, and then transmit it to others.

I started doing yoga when I was 18 years old when I was diagnosed with tachycardia, my normal heart rate was around 170 beats per minute and when I did anything that required more physical effort, I could go up to 250 beats. Just doing the sun salutations was so hard. During that time, I understood that my practice, despite being so short, was what my body needed. I also discovered that illnesses were always linked to the emotional state.
I made several Vipassana retreats, I improved my diet, I include in my routine 10-15 min daily of yoga. And so my life began to change. Including these habits has not only cured me, but also made me understand that this very special practice is suitable for any type of person.
I traveled for years to Mysore-India, to study with Sharath Jois, grandson of Sri. Pattabhi Jois. In 2014 I received her blessing to teach and transmit Ashtanga Yoga according to the tradition. In 2016, I traveled to Kazakhstan to assist certified teacher Tarik Tami. In 2018 we were assisting our Master Sharath, the experience of teaching with him has been one of the most special moments of my career. I admire teachers like David Garrigues and Petri Räisänen. They transmitted to me values and their technique when teaching. They have shown me that not only experience determines a teacher, but also his ability to give and his humility. Every time I see them I realize that you have to see and feel that gift in who teaches you.
I've never had in my plans to teach, but when I received the authorization I thought that all things happen for some reason. To teach is the best way to help others to discover themselves. Those of you who know me as a teacher and friend know that I am enthusiastic, meticulous and respectful in the adjustments. You know my dedication and devotion to this practice, and theset are the values I transmit in my classes. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to transmit and help you to improve on this path. We are waiting for you on the Mat! :)
